About Us

As the name suggests SCANFLEX^® supply a range of products which are flexible and have their origins in Scandinavia: an area of the world renowned for ergonomic design and quality care for the disabled and elderly. Established in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1980, SCANFLEX^® opened their U.K. branch in 1991 at Bromborough, Wirral.

From Bromborough the company offers a nationwide service to architects, housing associations, occupational therapists, nursing homes, hospitals, schools and indeed anybody who is involved in the provision of suitable accommodation for disabled users and multi-user environments.

The SCANFLEX^® portfolio includes flexible kitchen furniture, adjustable height bath/shower room products, wheelchair accessible desks & tables, occupational therapy equipment and remote window operators.

Our philosophy is that the incorporation of well designed flexible furniture & equipment into domestic, educational and work environments not only improves the quality of life for those with physical limitations and their carers but is also a good investment in terms of social inclusion and the future value of these environments.
